BNSF track lines & stops

View in Google Earth View in Google Maps

Ok, here is the first draft. I selected out all of the BNSF track lines from the source you showed me. Then I selected by location all stops from the point coverage that were intersected by the BNSF tracks and added them too. I published the labels but I didn't include any info points with data. I suppose I could do that later.

I pulled about a years worth of MLS data for an area. The data I added to Google Earth is all resales for the area for the past year that have lot sizes between 7,500 and 10,000 square feet (I also had 8 other size categories that I did not add to this post). I created 5 categories of price:

< $250,000 = Blue
$250,000 - $500,000 = Green
$500,000 - $750,000 = Yellow
$750,000 - $1,000,000 = Orange
> $1,000,000 = Red

I calculated their purchase prices in height feet divided by 100 (otherwise they'd be 'out of this world prices' on google earth). I then used ultra edit macros to add dates to GE's time tags. The result is a display of values over time or time periods. Any ideas?

I joined MLS data tables to a Maricopa County parcel shapefile by APN number in ArcEditor. Then I selected out sales for a period of about 1 year and categorized them by 9 different lot size ranges and symbolized them by 5 different resale price ranges. I imported it into Google Earth and edited it with Ultra-Edit so that the placemark tags include date values that GE can display as a 4th dimension visually. I also ran a calculation on the prices to give it height attributes that didn't force the parcel columns into outer space.
